Last weekend every surfer around the world was watching the webcast of the Billabong Pipeline Masters showcasing the beautiful warm weather on North Shore of Hawaii. While we were all glued to the screens watching Mick and Kelly battle it out in boardshorts and amazing waves, Canadian Surfer Cameron McCreath looked out his window to see a snow storm with –12 oC Air temperature. With the stoke of the event effecting us all Cameron did what any surfer would do...Suit up and paddle out!
Cameron’s local break is in Port Credit, Ontario on the shores of Lake Ontario. The current water temp for Lake Ontario is 4 oC. By all accounts from Cameron it was a great SUP session! Look at the smile on his dial. Legend! We are sure Mick and Kelly would have been proud.
Cameron stores his boards at his parents house close to his local break. We all laughed when he told us that the only way his Mum would let him go out is if he wore a helmet!
