Kyuss said "I'm so stoked with the win!! I came second last year and really wanted to go one better this year and take the title! There are so many amazing surfers competing in this comp and division so every heat was a battle. I had a plan for each heat and it worked, my boards are going good and I've been doing a lot of travel and surfing different waves and I think thats been good for me, I haven't been doing as many comps this year but there are some key events that I want to be at and this is definitely one of them!! I'm just so stoked to take the title! Yeeeeew!!!!!
