FCS II Rob Machado Tri-Keel Fins

I bought these for my El Tomo fish and they work amazing. My normal set up is the Carver in the front and Performers for the trailers. I swapped out the Carvers for these Machado keels and the board was noticeably faster. Along with extra speed the board had a really nice skatey flow and held nicely, no slide out. These fins will work with any board, try them you won’t be disappointed.

Great Fins that work well in all conditions. They have a loose feel and perform well in the pocket. Excellent release on the lip and through turns

I haven’t had great surf to try them out in yet but I have paired them with a DHD Phoenix. It certainly was a noticeable change to a more relaxed ride but with speed

I tried these fins in boards that have used Reactors, Performers, Accelerators and Carvers in all manner of pro names and found them heaps of fun.

From the time I saw the Machado’s advertised I liked the sound of the semi keel fin design but was a little concerned about whether they may “spin out” too easy. They didn’t, and I was pleasantly surprised how well they hung in for steep barrelling take offs yet released off the top due to the small trailer.

I’ve only surfed these fins in waves up to 4’ or so but on multiple boards and they live up to the hype, really.

Give them a try, they make your normal high performance board feel like a fun board.
