I’ve tried lots of quads and these are the best ones. I totally recommend them.
I had a H4 thruster set for a while in my 5’11 CI OG Flyer. Bought the H4 quad rears to try in my grovelling board (5’7 CI Ultra Joe) which works better as a quad and usually has AM template fins in it. Using the H4 quad set gives a bit more speed, pushes back a bit harder on a bottom turn and the board definitely holds higher in the wave face. In slow sloppy waves you wouldn’t notice much difference, the AM fins are excellent in that board, but in quick steep waves especially over a couple of feet it is obvious after your first turn.
Very similar to the performer template, awesome quality and addition to my fin options. So far goes good in hybrids and and short boards. Waiting to try in a quad fish I ordered!
They hang in there in the critical sections and loose when you need them to be.
