Excellent material and quality.
Recently used for a trip between mainland and Hawaii with 2 boards in the Travel3 bag. Wrapped each board with 1 layer of bubble wrap and boards arrived in excellent condition!
Bag was really light with just 2 boards in it, easy to handle and the coffin style makes packing boards quick, easy and secure.
Plenty of padding. Solid construction.
I like the design of the bag, the padding is great.
Two small negative notes:
- The bag was 6'7 and it can barely fit a big 6'4 that I have (length wise, which is surprising, but i think a big 6'6 would be hard to fit inside.
- the two small padded square provided inside are nice but I which they were bigger to cover the full board
This bag is absolutely fantastic! Getting back to the nitty gritty, first of all the service received from FCS was fantastic. We ordered the bag on 01 November, which was a holiday in Europe, and a quick query to FCS reassured me that everything had gone through perfectly. The bag arrived a few days later, beautifully packed and delivered to the door.
It's a fabulous bag. The bag itself is well padded and the zip openings mean that up to three boards can be loaded into the bag really easily. There are even two nice 'blankets' to separate up to three boards and they'll all be secure and protected quite nicely. There is also space for storing fins (of course from FCS) and accessories.
We've not had a chance to use the bag 'in the wild' just yet, but next year there'll be a trip to the Maldives and all being well an opportunity for more feedback.
Tl,dr: An awesome bag from FCS, and great service from the company.
